A few gusts to near tropical storm will be possible this morning across Avoyelles Parish in closest proximity to the center of the storm before it moves farther away from the region. A few gusts may also occur over the coastal waters in vicinity of the mouth of the Atchafalaya River as well. However widespread wind impacts are no longer expected, along with flooding rain, storm surge or tornado impacts. POTENTIAL IMPACTS ----------------- * WIND: Little to no additional impacts are anticipated at this time across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas. * SURGE: Little to no additional surge impacts are expected across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas. * FLOODING RAIN: Little to no additional impacts are anticipated across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas. * TORNADOES: No tornadoes are anticipated at this time across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
